American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Palliative Care position at a cancer hospital and research center in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of RN experience and Epic proficiency.

Inpatient Palliative Care unit within a cancer hospital and research setting
-
Patient population includes those receiving end-of-life comfort care as well as patients still undergoing active treatment requiring symptom management (e.g., uncontrolled pain, severe nausea/vomiting, failure to thrive, fatigue)

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Rotating day/night contract possible — shift assignments (days, nights, or a combination) are determined by department needs and reviewed every 4-week scheduling period

Epic EMR experience required

Floating required to units of equivalent or lower acuity

Active OH RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand

Current BLS certification required

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Prior travel nursing experience preferred

This is a newly opening Palliative Care unit; travelers who begin prior to the unit's opening will float to inpatient units during the orientation/training period, providing exposure to the varied patient populations the unit will serve
