ONE The Cheese Steak Shop is currently seeking a District Manager. We have 23 locations in the Greater Bay Area and have been serving Philly Cheese Steaks sandwiches for over 40 years! Our famous Philadelphia style hot sandwiches are iconic and unique in the Bay Area. We have fans all over the world and we need you in order to continue our success. District Managers are responsible for all aspects of overseeing 6-7 modern day restaurants. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple store or branch locations, ensuring consistent operational standards and exceptional customer service.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets, improve processes, and enhance overall business performance.
- Analyze profit and loss statements regularly to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction.
- Utilize Excel data analysis tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), sales trends, and operational metrics for informed decision-making.
- Supervise and mentor store managers and team leaders, fostering their professional development through coaching and training initiatives.
- Drive business development efforts by identifying new market opportunities, building relationships with clients, and expanding the customer base.
- Implement lean management principles to streamline processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency across districts.
- Oversee project management activities related to store openings, renovations, or process improvements to ensure timely execution.
- Promote a culture of leadership, teamwork, and accountability while maintaining high standards of operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience with a strong track record in supervising teams within a retail or service environment.
- Extensive experience in strategic management, business development, and operational oversight.
- Proficiency in Excel data analysis for tracking performance metrics and making data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead executive-level teams and manage large-scale projects effectively.
- Strong understanding of profit & loss analysis, financial planning, and process improvement methodologies such as lean management.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on team development, motivation, and strategic planning.
- Experience in sales growth strategies, customer service excellence, and operational management is highly desirable.
Must have a minimum of 2 years experience as a Restaurant District Manager (Fast Casual Experience Preferred). Applicants who do not meet this minimum requirement will not be considered.
Must be able to provide documentation of authorization to work in the United States, possess a valid California Driver's License and have a working vehicle with current registration and auto insurance.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
