Responsibilities
- Help residents/Seniors with daily activities like bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature).
- Administer medications as prescribed.
- Provide care for residents with memory issues like Alzheimer’s or dementia.
- Assist with mobility.
- Prepare meals according to residents’ dietary needs.
- Keep living areas clean and safe.
- Support residents’ social and emotional well-being through activities and companionship.
- Record care activities accurately and communicate with team and family members.
- Handle behavioral challenges calmly and appropriately.
Requirements
- Certified Caregiver Certificate
- Valid Driver’s License
- Current CPR & First Aid Certification
- Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Current TB Test
- Food Handler Certificate
- Verification of Employment
- Mandatory 6 hrs/year in service training
- Monthly Hr continued education
