Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment and systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, and the ability to interpret schematics. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues promptly, utilizing schematics and technical manuals as needed.
- Conduct appliance repairs and service tasks across various facilities, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accurate documentation.
- Assist with installation projects, including HVAC units, refrigeration systems, and other mechanical equipment.
- Lead small maintenance projects or teams when required, demonstrating leadership and coordination skills.
- Collaborate with operations staff to identify areas for process improvements and equipment upgrades.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician in a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and air conditioning.
- Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and mechanical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration principles.
- Experience with equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and construction-related tasks is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the capacity to guide team members or lead projects effectively.
