We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Day Program Manager to lead and oversee our day programs dedicated to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. In this vital role, you will coordinate daily activities, manage staff, and ensure a safe, engaging, and empowering environment for participants. Your leadership will foster positive relationships with participants, families, and community partners while ensuring program compliance and quality standards are met. Duties
- Develop, implement, and evaluate daily program activities tailored to the needs and interests of individuals with developmental disabilities
- Supervise and support program staff, including training , and performance management to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Assist with participants transporting when needed for appointments or day program route
- Work under Program Director & admin team
- Build strong relationships with participants, families, and community partners to promote collaboration and shared goals
- Oversee program operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards
- Monitor participant progress and behavior, implementing behavioral health strategies as needed to support positive outcomes
- Ensure a safe environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular safety audits
- Manage administrative tasks such as documentation, incident reporting, and maintaining accurate records
Skills
- Proven management and supervisory experience in a social services or related setting
- Expertise in program development and implementation for individuals with developmental disabilities
- Strong relationship management skills to foster trust with participants, families, staff, and community stakeholders
- Excellent administrative skills including budgeting, record-keeping, and compliance documentation
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles relevant to working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining a positive work environment
- Experience in social work or related fields that support person-centered planning and support strategies
