Animal Health Care Center of Chillicothe is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated and compassionate team!
We are a busy, full-service veterinary clinic committed to providing excellent medical care and outstanding client service. The ideal candidate will be motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about patient care.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting veterinarians in exams, treatments, and surgeries
- Administering medications and anesthesia monitoring
- Performing laboratory tests and taking radiographs
- Client education and communication
- Maintaining a clean and organized hospital environment
- Willingness to be cross trained in other areas such as reception and kennel when needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong technical and communication skills
- A team-oriented attitude and a love for animals
- Attention to detail
Experience and pay will be based on skill level and qualifications.
