Duties
- Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and well-presented
- Assist with food preparation, including slicing, plating, and replenishing breakfast items according to safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including clearing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring the buffet area is tidy throughout the shift
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures diligently to uphold hygiene standards and prevent contamination
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including coffee machines, toasters, and warming trays
- Handle food handling tasks responsibly, including portioning and serving food to guests in person with friendly professionalism
Skills
- Previous experience in fine dining or restaurant environments is highly valued
- Strong food preparation skills with knowledge of food safety management and sanitizing procedures
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including weight handling in the workplace
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as coffee makers, toasters, and warming stations
- Knowledge of wine or beverage service adds value but is not required
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude in in-person interactions
- Experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus; hospitality background preferred
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness
