NOOR is seeking a dynamic, organized, and proactive Sales Coordinator to join our vibrant sales team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, generating new business, supporting event sales, and helping ensure every client experience is professional, polished, and memorable.
The Sales Coordinator will support the sales department by managing inquiries, following up with leads, maintaining client communications, assisting with event preparation, coordinating with internal departments, and helping grow NOOR’s brand visibility and event bookings.
Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming event and catering inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage a pipeline of inquiries, prospects, tentative bookings, and definite bookings.
- Generate new business by following up with leads and proactively developing a full pipeline of prospective clients, including current clients, past inquiries, event planners, hotels, surrounding businesses, social clubs, targeted brands, and other potential referral sources.
- Maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive sales database of prospective clients, industry contacts, and referral partners.
- Use Tripleseat CRM to track customer interactions, update sales pipelines, maintain client records, and support strategic planning.
- Assist with business development initiatives, including cold calling, targeted outreach, lead generation, and marketing campaigns.
- Develop and support marketing efforts that enhance brand visibility and generate new leads.
- Manage client accounts through timely, clear, and professional communication.
- Follow up on contracts to ensure menu selections, deposits, full payments, guest counts, and other required information are received by the appropriate deadlines.
- Keep credit card deposits and client payment information updated as needed.
- Create booking links and payment links as needed.
- Send thank-you emails and review requests to clients after the conclusion of their events.
- Prepare thank-you and evaluation correspondence for groups that have completed their events.
- Prepare for and attend weekly BEO meetings with involved departments to review upcoming events.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure required staffing levels are met in anticipation of special events.
- Clearly communicate event execution strategies to the appropriate departments to support successful events and catering operations.
- Support management by preparing reports, reviewing sales performance metrics, identifying trends, and contributing ideas for continuous improvement.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards throughout the sales and event process.
- Ensure the sales department has the necessary supplies, materials, and tools to operate smoothly.
- Keep track of Sales & Events inventory.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in event sales, hospitality sales, catering sales, or a related customer-facing sales role.
- Strong understanding of direct sales, lead generation, prospecting, and client relationship management.
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Tripleseat or similar platforms is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts, leads, deadlines, and events simultaneously.
- Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Strong business development skills, including cold calling, outreach, follow-up, and relationship building.
- Ability to conduct engaging, personable, and professional presentations tailored to diverse clients and audiences.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Analytical ability to review sales data, identify trends, and help develop strategies for growth.
- Professional, polished, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment.
