In this role, you will be responsible for managing various accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial standards, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. Your expertise in accounting software, financial concepts, and data analysis will be vital in maintaining accurate records and delivering timely financial insights. Duties
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
- Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Utilize financial software such as QuickBooks to record and analyze financial data
- Conduct month-end closing activities, including account reconciliation and financial statement preparation
- Support internal audits and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial transactions
- Handle data entry with high accuracy using Excel data analysis skills and 10 key typing proficiency
- Contribute to budgeting processes, credit analysis, and financial reporting for various departments or projects
Skills
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Three to five years of accounting experience.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliations.
- Experience supporting month end close activities.
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Self motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
