Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our logistics and warehouse operations team. In this role, you will oversee the efficient processing of outgoing shipments, coordinate with various departments to ensure timely delivery, and maintain accurate shipping records. Duties
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments using warehouse management systems and inventory management software
- Verify order accuracy by cross-referencing picking lists, packing slips, and shipping documents
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and move inventory safely
- Ensure proper packaging of products to prevent damage during transit while adhering to trade compliance and international trade regulations
- Coordinate with carriers for pickup scheduling, tracking shipments, and resolving delivery issues promptly
- Maintain accurate shipping records, update inventory levels, and perform data entry tasks within ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems
- Assist in stock replenishment by stocking shelves and preparing orders for shipment efficiently
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing pallets, loading docks, and storage areas
- Collaborate with customer service teams to provide shipment updates and resolve any order discrepancies
- Follow safety protocols during all warehouse operations to promote a safe working environment
Requirements
Bilingual
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics roles with familiarity in shipping & receiving procedures
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems, inventory management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of shipping logistics, order picking & packing, and inventory control processes
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely
- Strong basic math skills for weighing packages, calculating dimensions, and verifying quantities
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and record keeping
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and external carriers
- Prior experience with international trade regulations or trade compliance is a plus
