Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Janitor to join our team in the first shift at our facility in the United States. This role is vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment that supports our operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform custodial duties to ensure a clean and safe environment
- Clean and maintain designated areas, including offices, restrooms, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Dust and wipe down surfaces
- Clean windows and glass surfaces
- Restock supplies as needed
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of custodial practices and equipment operation
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors
