Schedule Details/Additional Information:

- 3, 12-hour shifts or 4, 10-hour shifts available
- Position will require floating within the Wake region: Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center (Winston-Salem, NC), Davie Medical Center (Bermuda Run, NC), Wilkes Medical Center (North Wilkesboro, NC), High Point Medical Center (High Point, NC), & Lexington Medical Center (Lexington, NC)
What You Will Do
- Utilizes the nursing process to ensure quality patient care is provided throughout the episode of care.
- Ensures complete, accurate and timely computerized communication of patient information.
- Demonstrates cost containment activities.
- Communicates to the team, co-workers, patients and family members in an effective, positive, and professional manner.
- Takes personal responsibility and initiative for performance and for professional growth and development.
What We Are Looking For
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Minimum of one year Operating Room experience or participation in a post-graduate program required.
- 3 years of experience strongly preferred.
- Refresher course required for nurses who have not worked in an Operating Room for five years or more.
- Current licensures to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
- BCLS required.
- CNOR preferred.
