Position Overview
The Change LLC is seeking compassionate and dedicated Community Services Support Providers (CSSPs) to join our growing behavioral health team. In this role, you will provide community-based mental health support services designed to help individuals improve daily functioning, strengthen coping skills, and work toward recovery goals.
CSSPs deliver strengths-based services in client-centered environments, including homes, schools, residential treatment centers, and community settings. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting mental health recovery, promoting independence, and helping clients build practical life skills.
Working under the supervision of qualified clinical staff, CSSPs assist in implementing treatment plans, reinforcing behavioral strategies, and supporting individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skills training and rehabilitation services that build client independence, emotional regulation, and coping abilities.
- Review updated treatment plans with clients and their Legally Authorized Representatives (LARs) when applicable.
- Deliver individual and group behavioral health interventions aligned with individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct behavioral observations to support treatment planning.
- Provide services in community-based settings including homes, schools, residential treatment centers, after-school programs, and other approved locations.
- Support individuals experiencing challenges such as anxiety, trauma, PTSD, grief, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, behavioral disorders, and other mental health conditions.
- Utilize evidence-based approaches.
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support when necessary.
- Collaborate with licensed clinicians, QMHP's, case managers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
- Document all services in Notenetic using clear, professional language and proper grammar.
- Maintain accurate documentation compliant with HIPAA regulations and clinical standards.
- Participate in staff meetings, supervision, and treatment team reviews.
Qualifications
Candidates must meet Texas Medicaid CSSP credentialing requirements to deliver Mental Health Targeted Case Management (MHTCM) and Mental Health Rehabilitative Services.
CSSP providers must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Completion of required training curriculum (provided by The Change LLC).
- Demonstrated competency in the services to be performed.
- Reliable transportation.
- Valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.
- Must pass a background check.
- Negative Tuberculosis Skin Test required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing mental health and behavioral challenges.
Preferred Experience
- 1+ years of behavioral health or clinical experience. (required)
- Experience providing community-based mental health services.
- Experience with Behavioral interventions, Crisis intervention, Case management, Skills training services.
- Familiarity with ICD-10 diagnostic terminology.
- Experience working with children and adolescents.
- Experience with Individuals with developmental disabilities or autism.
