Low Voltage Integrators, Inc. is an established low-voltage systems contractor serving commercial, industrial, retail, multi-family, and residential clients throughout the Twin Cities metro area. We specialize in security, fire alarm, access control, video surveillance, networking, and audio/video systems.
We are currently seeking an Installation Technician to join our growing team. This is a hands-on position that offers a wide variety of work, opportunities for advancement, and the ability to take ownership of projects from start to finish.

Most of our work is located within the Twin Cities metro area, with occasional limited travel.
Position Overview
The Installation Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, programming, and commissioning low-voltage systems. This position requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to manage projects and job sites independently.
This role also requires the ability to lead projects from start to finish, including overseeing job-site progress, coordinating with team members and customers, maintaining installation quality, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Install, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling
- Install and configure security, access control, surveillance, networking, and audio/video systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and wiring diagrams
- Program and commission low-voltage systems
- Troubleshoot system and network issues
- Manage projects from start to finish
- Coordinate with customers, contractors, and internal team members
- Maintain accurate project documentation
- Ensure installations meet company and industry standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

- Experience leading projects and coordinating job-site activities
- Experience with alarm, access control, surveillance, or networking systems
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work from ladders
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude
