Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive waitress to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, presenting menus, taking accurate orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction. This role requires excellent communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests, presenting menus and daily specials
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to kitchen and bar staff
- Serve dishes and drinks promptly and professionally
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Maintain clean and organized tables, dining areas, and service stations
- Process payments and handle cash or card transactions accurately
- Assist with menu recommendations and upselling appetizers, desserts, or drinks
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
- Occasionally assist kitchen staff with food preparation or restocking service areas
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, café, or hospitality setting
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and order management
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods
- Attention to detail and patience to handle complex orders and difficult situations
- Basic math skills for handling payments and calculating tips
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Pay: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour
