We are looking for experienced Field Service Technicians to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial reciprocating compressors across North America. This role is ideal for hands-on technicians with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience who enjoy traveling, working independently, and supporting industrial customers in the field.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and compressor overhauls.
- Install, inspect, repair, and commission industrial reciprocating compressors and related equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Replace relays, sensors, transmitters, and perform basic PLC troubleshooting when required.
- Prepare service reports using Microsoft Word and Excel and communicate with customers using Outlook.
- Maintain a high level of safety and professionalism while working on customer sites.
- Travel approximately 80% throughout the United States, with occasional travel to Canada and Spain for training.
- Provide emergency support, including occasional weekend and holiday work when required.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience servicing industrial reciprocating compressors, industrial engines, or similar rotating industrial equipment.
- Strong experience performing preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and overhauls.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Experience replacing relays, sensors, transmitters, and performing basic PLC troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to work independently in the field.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel approximately 80%.
- Experience with equipment from manufacturers such as Ariel, Burckhardt Compression,
HOERBIGER, Kaeser, Belliss & Morcom, AF Compressors, Ingersoll Rand, or similar.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
