Artsify LLC seeks direct support professionals looking to take an artistic approach to work with adults who experience the world uniquely through their developmental disability.
Art fills our clients’ lives with joy, purpose, discovery and friendships. Drawing, song, animation, illustration, music, piano, jewelry, creative endeavors. Each person see’s art in a new way, and we appreciate each person’s artistic and life goals. Not only do we focus on art, but we put a highlight on being a mentor and leading by example to help them reach their individualized goals such as learning to cook, maintaining the cleanliness of their homes, and community engagement.
Artsify clients are talented, self-aware, engaged in community life and taking care of themselves individually and as a caring community. We have clients throughout Multnomah County, but Artist Mentors are encouraged to accompany clients in exploring the wider community – to be involved in learning about culture, community, art, and enhance their experiences in things that are intriguing to them.
Services are provided in homes, community settings, workplaces, educational environments, and recreational settings throughout Multnomah, Washington, and Clackamas counties.
Compensation:
Hourly wage $20.00-23.00 depending on experience and schedule. Benefits are generous and proportionate to hours scheduled for and worked per month.

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Ability to pass all required criminal background checks
- Ability to use basic technology, including email, scheduling platforms, electronic documentation systems, and internet-based communication tools
- Ability to provide person-centered support in community and home-based settings
- Ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
- Uncompromising respect for clients, their independence and their privacy
- Ability to pass a background check (before first day on the job)
- CPR and First Aid certificates (Artsify will help arrange)
