Responsibilities:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and brake system failures
- Conduct inspections and testing of vehicle systems to identify potential issues or areas for improvement
- Complete necessary repairs and replacements of automotive parts and components
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on vehicles
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions about vehicle repairs
Experience:
- Previous experience as an automotive technician or in a related field is preferred
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with automotive repair work
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and explain complex technical concepts
Note: Experience working with GM vehicles and auto body repair/welding skills are a plus.
