The following position is available at Northridge High School:
DROP OUT PREVENTION SPECIALIST
Applications must be submitted by Monday, July 27th.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
• Identify, monitor, and support students who are at risk of dropping out.
• Track student attendance, credits, grades, behavior, and graduation progress.
• Develop and monitor individualized graduation and credit recovery plans.
• Coordinate credit recovery, online learning, and alternative education opportunities.
• Conduct home visits and communicate regularly with students and families.
• Connect students with school and community resources to remove barriers to success.
• Collaborate with counselors, administrators, teachers, and outside agencies to improve student outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and monitor intervention effectiveness to increase graduation rates.
THIS IS A COACH/PARAPROFESSIONAL POSITION. PAY WILL BE $17-$22 PER HOUR DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE.
