Job Summary
Cove Water Solutions is a new and growing local water filtration company located in Long Island and Queens, New York. We are looking for licensed plumbers with experience in whole-home water filters/softeners and reverse osmosis drinking water systems for homeowners. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing residential water filtration systems to ensure our clients enjoy clean, safe, and great-tasting water, while remaining professional and friendly with homeowners during installs.
This starts as contract/part-time work (1-3 installs per week, typically 3-4 hours per install) with a clear path to full-time W2 as our install volume grows. We're investing heavily in marketing and growing quickly.
Responsibilities
- Installing 10x54 whole-home water softener/filtration systems
- Installing under-sink 5-stage reverse osmosis systems (and potentially tankless ones)
- Conducting site assessments to determine the best placement for filters and related components, considering plumbing layouts and building plans.
- Basic plumbing tie-ins, testing, and cleanup
- Encouraging Google reviews after job is done (with potential to earn per review)
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on existing water filtration systems to optimize performance.
Requirements
- Valid license as a plumber with proven experience in residential plumbing installations.
- Your own tools and reliable transportation.
- Ability to accept installation jobs with 48-72 hours notice
- Timely, reliable, and trustworthy, with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with team members
- Friendly, with a customer-first mindset as a representative of the company
- Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly
