Key Responsibilities
Analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to define scope and budget
Source and negotiate pricing from subcontractors and suppliers
Prepare bid proposals and assist in tender submissions
Track project costs and update estimates as needed throughout the project lifecycle
Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options
Maintain a database of historical costs and pricing trends
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in estimating (construction, manufacturing, or relevant industry)
Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst, PlanSwift)
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
