As a Line Cook at Worthwyld, you’ll play a key role in bringing our menu to life—prepping, cooking, and plating dishes to our high standards. Your focus on consistency, cleanliness, and communication will help ensure a seamless kitchen flow and a memorable dining experience for every guest.
What You’ll Do:
- Set up and maintain a clean, well-stocked station based on diagrams and pars
- Complete prep work and execute menu items to recipe and timing standards
- Read tickets and prepare food with accuracy, efficiency, and presentation in mind
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and storage areas
- Communicate clearly with expo and fellow line cooks to keep service moving
- Rotate stock and follow all food safety and sanitation protocols
- Complete assigned opening, closing, and running duties
- Jump in wherever needed to support the kitchen team
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience
- Strong knife skills and recipe execution ability
- Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
- Strategic thinker and problem solver with great time management
- Clear communicator and team player
- Attention to cleanliness, safety, and quality
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
