Our family-owned business is looking for a full time Automotive Seamstress, where your sewing expertise will bring precision and craftsmanship to the automotive industry. In this vital role, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and customizing the interiors of cars, boats, ATVS, golf carts and more with meticulous attention to detail. Your skills will help enhance the quality and durability of automotive interiors, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety. Duties
- Operate sewing machines to assemble and repair automotive upholstery
- Cut fabric, leather, or vinyl materials accurately according to specifications using pattern templates and measuring tools
- Inspect finished products for quality standards, making adjustments or repairs as needed to meet strict specifications
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow safety protocols and operational procedures to ensure a safe working environment at all times
Requirements
- Proficiency with sewing machines
- Strong knowledge of sewing techniques relevant to upholstery work such as topstitching, hemming, and seam reinforcement
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control and precision craftsmanship
