Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Production & Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse and tire production operations. This hands-on position is responsible for loading and unloading tires, mounting and balancing tires and wheels, picking parts, preparing shipments, and supporting general warehouse operations.
The ideal candidate has excellent attendance, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys staying active, working on a team, and learning multiple areas of warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload tires from delivery trucks and customer vehicles.
- Mount tires onto wheels using specialized equipment.
- Balance tire and wheel assemblies according to established procedures.
- Pick small parts and prepare packages for customer installations.
- Stack, wrap, and secure pallets of tires using pallet-wrapping equipment.
- Accurately record materials moved and processed throughout the warehouse.
- Complete packing slips for incoming shipments.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment as trained and authorized.
- Assist team members in other areas of the warehouse as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse requirements.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse, production, tire, or distribution experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Forklift experience preferred; certification is a plus.
- Excellent attendance, punctuality, and reliability.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and assist wherever needed.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to safety and proper material handling procedures.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Comfortable performing repetitive, physically active work.
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive movements.
- Regular loading, unloading, stacking, and movement of tires and wheels.
- Ability to lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 65 pounds.
- Regular use of tire mounting, balancing, pallet-wrapping, and warehouse equipment.
- Required use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Must be able to safely perform physical work throughout the workday.
