- Utilize salon software systems like Square for appointment scheduling, client management, and sales tracking
- Upsell retail products such as hair care items
- Be positive and supportive in sharing your unique expertise in cosmetology techniques and customer service excellence
Skills
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with strong proficiency in hair styling, coloring, and cutting techniques
- Expertise in color theory, and advanced hair coloring methods to create customized looks
- Familiarity with sanitation protocols, store management practices, and retail math for accurate product sales calculations
- Excellent communication skills for effective client consultations and team collaboration
