SCOPE: Assuring the Quality Management System is compliant and effective throughout all departments per AS9100/ISO9001.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interface with quality manager regarding quality concerns, actions, and improvements
- work with quality and engineering on MRR's
- Lead internal problem solving events
- Develop, implement, and execute product and process quality plans that assure conformance to all customer and regulatory requirements
- Support engineering on developing programs fro CMM and Vision System.
- Support, maintain and ensure compliance with Quality Management System procedures, work instructions and "Best Practices" throughout the facility
- Support, train and mentor of Quality Control Team, as well as assure inspection and test is planned, effective and efficient in mitigating quality risks
EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS :
- BS/BA degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of technical discipline.
- Recommended five years of professional experience in quality management; preferably in the aerospace industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- A comprehensive knowledge of AS 9100 requirements
- Experience CMM, VISION SYSTEMS
- Experience with quality manufacturing system and understanding of specifications, gage certification, capability analysis, data and defect analysis, variance reduction, etc.
- A sound knowledge of the application of Quality Systems
- Proficient capability with MS Office
WORKING CONDITIONS AND TRAINING:
Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
