Position Summary
The Home Health Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for coordinating patient visits, maintaining efficient clinician schedules, and supporting the daily operations of our clinical office. This position requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule patient visits in accordance with physician orders and individualized plans of care.
- Coordinate daily schedules for registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, therapists, and home health aides.
- Monitor clinician availability and adjust schedules to accommodate new referrals, patient needs, call-outs, and urgent visits.
- Communicate effectively with clinicians, patients, physicians, referral sources, and office staff.
- Maintain accurate scheduling and patient information within the WellSky (Kinnser) electronic medical record.
- Answer incoming telephone calls professionally and direct inquiries appropriately.
- Assist with general administrative duties that support clinical operations.
- Help ensure patients receive timely, coordinated, and high-quality care.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous scheduling, administrative, customer service, or medical office experience.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
Preferred
- Home health scheduling experience.
- Experience using WellSky (Kinnser).
- Knowledge of Medicare home health operations.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
