Job Description
We are looking for a Physical Therapist with pelvic floor/pelvic health experience to join a new outpatient physical therapy clinic in Lansdowne, VA. This is an opportunity to help build and grow the clinic’s pelvic health program.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat pelvic floor conditions, including incontinence, pelvic pain, and prolapse.
- Provide pre/postpartum and post-surgical rehabilitation.
- Develop personalized treatment plans and home exercise programs.
- Educate patients on pelvic health and wellness.
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
- Collaborate with OB/GYNs, urologists, and referring physicians.
- Help develop and grow the pelvic health program.
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
- Current Virginia PT license or eligibility.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Pelvic health continuing education is required — Herman & Wallace, APTA Academy of Pelvic Health, or equivalent.
- Pelvic floor assessment/treatment experience preferred.
- PRPC or CAPP certification, or currently working toward certification, preferred.
- Strong communication, empathy, and patient-care skills.
