Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records. Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable functions including invoice processing, payment posting, and account reconciliation using financial software such as QuickBooks.
- Monitor aging reports to identify overdue accounts and initiate collection efforts through negotiation and professional communication.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including accounting, billing, and customer service to resolve discrepancies and improve revenue cycle processes.
- Conduct account analysis to identify trends or issues affecting receivables, providing insights for process improvements.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, journal entries, and account analysis related to receivables and revenue recognition.
Experience
- Proven experience in accounts receivable management within a corporate accounting or financial services environment.
- Proficiency with accounting software including QuickBooks; experience with Excel data analysis is essential.
- Ability to perform detailed account reconciliation, data entry (including 10 key typing), and double-entry bookkeeping accurately under tight deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills related to account analysis and revenue cycle management.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
