At Batteries Plus, we don't just power products-we power people's everyday lives. As a Store Associate, you'll be the face of our brand, helping customers find the right solutions for their needs. From providing product knowledge and technical support to keeping the store running smoothly, you'll play an essential role in creating positive customer experiences while supporting daily operations.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience
- Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with current products
- Assist with inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and supporting merchandising initiatives
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Support sales goals through effective upselling techniques and personalized recommendations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail or customer service experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Team player with professionalism, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Comfortable with basic math and cash register operation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform regular standing, walking, and hands-on tasks.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
