Work on a variety of Agricultural equipment. (tractors, combines, skid steers planters and balers). You will develop a specialty track with a specific manufacturer (Case-IH, Kubota, Krone, Manitou) and or with a specific product group (Tractors, Combines, Planters, Excavators, Skid steers, Balers). Diagnose and repair equipment, 50% Road work, 50% shop work. Must have a good understanding of Electrical Schematics, Hydraulic flow, Deisel engines basic metallurgy and mechanical parts. You will be assigned company vehicle for road work. You must have your own tools. Product Training is offered, tool allowance is offered; Cell phone and tough books are provided for Dianostics.
Summary
As an Agricultural Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will diagnose and repair critical farm machinery to keep operations running smoothly. Reporting to the Shop Foreman or Equipment Supervisor, you will perform diagnostics, hydraulics and transmission maintenance, and preventive servicing on tractors, harvesters, and other farm machinery. Your expertise in heavy equipment systems, automotive diagnostics, and mechanical troubleshooting will ensure reliable performance, minimize downtime, and extend equipment life. You will also collaborate with customers and farm personnel to provide quality service and practical repair solutions.
