ResQ is taking that mission one step further, which is why we launched RSG — ResQ Services Group — our own in-house service arm, and we are looking for our very first Master Plumber to help build it from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-moving tech company as a founding field team member, with real impact on how RSG operates and grows.
The Role
As RSG's first Master Plumber, you'll be the plumbing expert on the ground — delivering high-quality commercial plumbing service, maintenance, and repair across a portfolio of customer sites. You'll play a critical role in helping build and define our field service operations while providing exceptional service to our customers. You'll work closely with the ResQ team to help shape what great plumbing service looks like inside a tech-forward company.
What You'll Do:
- Perform commercial plumbing service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across customer locations
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues including leaks, clogged drains, fixtures, water heaters, and piping systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to identify issues before they become larger problems
- Respond to work orders in a timely manner and communicate updates through the ResQ platform
- Capture job notes, photos, and recommended follow-up work through the ResQ platform
- Support quoting, material identification, and scope development for follow-up repairs
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations
- Represent RSG professionally in all client interactions and meet established service standards
- Support emergency and after-hours service calls when required
Who you are:
- Active Florida Master Plumber license with ability to service commercial customers throughout the greater Miami area
- Active Florida Certified Plumbing Contractor license (CFC) in good standing
- Knowledge of Florida Plumbing Code, Florida Fuel Gas Code, and local Miami-Dade requirements
- 5+ years of commercial plumbing service and repair experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and solve complex plumbing issues
- Excellent customer service skills and takes pride in delivering high-quality work
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently in the field
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites
- Comfortable using a smartphone and mobile apps to manage work orders and updates
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in mechanical rooms, rooftops, crawl spaces, and varying weather conditions
Nice to Haves:
- Fuel gas or LP gas experience/certification
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification
- Experience servicing restaurants, hospitality, or multi-site commercial facilities
- Backflow prevention certification or gas fitting certification
- Experience mentoring apprentices or junior plumbers
- Experience pulling permits and coordinating inspections
- Familiarity with work order management software or field service platforms
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
