Cafe Raymond is hiring Shift Leads for our Strip District location.
This is a hands-on leadership role focused on daily restaurant operations, guest experience, team support, and smooth opening and closing shifts. This role is centered on day-to-day operations, allowing in-store leaders to focus on running the floor, supporting the team, maintaining standards, and ensuring each shift operates smoothly.
Pay: Starting at $19/hour
Location: Cafe Raymond, Strip District
Schedule: Full-time and part-time leadership shifts available. Weekend availability required.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading daily opening and closing procedures
- Supporting FOH and BOH teams during service
- Managing guest experience and resolving issues professionally
- Ensuring service standards, cleanliness, and food safety expectations are met
- Monitoring staff breaks, side work, and shift flow
- Communicating operational notes to ownership and leadership
- Helping train new team members and reinforce Cafe Raymond standards
- Handling basic POS, cash, and end-of-shift procedures
- Maintaining a calm, organized, team-focused environment during busy service
What we’re looking for:
- Restaurant, cafe, or hospitality experience
- Prior leadership, keyholder, or shift lead experience preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead by example and stay composed under pressure
- Reliable, punctual, and organized
- Comfortable giving direction while remaining hands-on with the team
- A guest-first mindset and pride in daily operations
Growth Opportunity
This role offers a clear path for advancement. After 3 months, Shift Leads who are meeting expectations may be eligible to enroll in the Cafe Raymond Manager Training Program. This program is designed for team members who want to grow into higher-level leadership roles with increased responsibility, financial understanding, and future earning potential within Cafe Raymond and Epicurean Management Group.
