Little Caterpillar Childcare is looking for an enthusiastic, caring, and passionate Lead VPK Teacher to join our team for the upcoming school year!
We're more than just a childcare center—we're a close-knit team that believes children learn best through hands-on experiences, exploration, creativity, and meaningful relationships. We're looking for someone who loves making learning fun and wants to make a lasting impact in the lives of young children.
What You'll Do
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate VPK lessons.
- Create a positive, nurturing, and organized classroom environment.
- Foster children's social, emotional, physical, and academic development.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and fellow team members.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom.
- Complete required documentation and assessments.
- Work collaboratively with administration and teaching staff.

Preferred Qualifications
- Florida VPK credentials or the ability to meet VPK requirements.
- CDA, FCCPC, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (required).
- Current DCF training (required).
- Experience teaching preschool or VPK preferred.
