Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Security Professional to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, excellent conflict management abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment. This role involves a 40 hour shift within 4 days and 3 days off. We are looking for a candidate with excellent customer service and the ability to go the extra mile for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and surveillance systems to identify suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized access and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents, emergencies, or alarms.
- Enforce loss prevention strategies by observing and intervening in potential theft or vandalism activities.
- Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation of security-related events.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary and assist in investigations.
- Provide first aid or CPR if required during emergencies, demonstrating readiness to handle medical situations.
- Manage conflict situations professionally, de-escalating disputes and ensuring safety for all parties involved.
- Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials of visitors and employees as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.
- Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV), conflict management, and loss prevention techniques.
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
- Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining vigilance throughout shifts.
- Must be physically capable of patrolling large areas and standing for extended periods.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
