Make a meaningful impact in elementary education by serving as a self-contained ESE teacher for the upcoming academic year. This contract position is based in the vibrant North West area and will have you leading a dedicated exceptional student education (ESE) classroom. You'll work with students presenting a variety of learning abilities and exceptionalities, developing individualized education plans to help each child achieve success.
The assignment runs from August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a steady 35-hour workweek (7 hours per day) at a single school site, primarily within elementary settings. There is some flexibility to accommodate preferences for different education levels, depending on openings.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Florida ESE certification and K-6 or PK-3 General Education certification
- Demonstrated experience as a teacher in a self-contained classroom environment
- Understanding of exceptional student needs and differentiation techniques
- Capacity to complete and verify Florida fingerprinting requirements
- Comfortable participating in credentialing steps, including an internal eligibility interview and virtual prescreen sessions
Primary Responsibilities:
