Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Dishwasher/Busser, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient dining environment. Duties
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean all kitchenware, utensils, and cookware efficiently and safely.
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure all dishes and surfaces are hygienic and compliant with health regulations.
- Clear tables swiftly after guests leave, bussing dishes, glassware, and silverware to designated areas.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, supporting the culinary team in maintaining smooth kitchen operations.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, boxes, or supplies while adhering to proper lifting techniques to prevent injury.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly.
- Support kitchen staff by operating basic kitchen equipment and assisting with food handling when required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety management and sanitation standards is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
- Familiarity with operating dishwashing machines and basic kitchen equipment is a plus.
- Strong commitment to maintaining kitchen health and safety standards at all times.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting restaurant operations.
- Prior banquet or catering experience is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for culinary environments is appreciated.
