Description:
PrimeCare Medical Inc. is looking for enthusiastic and hard-working Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) to work full-time and/or part-time on the day shift or part-time on the night shift in the Medical Department at the Chester County Prison in West Chester, PA. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for a variety of daily tasks such as medical records request, administrative reports, Continuity of Care (COC) release, and other medical duties.
Available Shifts: FT & PT Day (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM), PT Night (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Job Responsibilities:

Maintaining examination and treatment areas

Verification of medications and medical information
-
Maintain medication records
-
Answer telephone and processing calls
-
Maintain filing system and confidentiality of information at all times

Provide full administrative and clerical support to the medical department at the facility to include typing of various reports, letters and memorandum

Data Entry
-
Scanning documents into the computer

Assisting with the credentialing process of new hires

Maintain staff log
-
Schedule transports
-
Assist with billing

Requirements:
The Medical Assistant must have completed an approved Medical Assistant program and also bring some clerical experience and ability to type to the position in order to be considered.
