We are currently seeking a full-time Site Medical Director for clinical services provided to the Maryland incarcerated population at Maryland Correctional Institution - Hagerstown (MCIH) in Hagerstown, Maryland.
Compensation $300K with $25K Sign-on Bonus
The Site Medical Director, under the supervision of the Regional Medical Director, provides the following:

Clinical direction needed and direct patient care to meet the service delivery requirements of assigned site

Supervision and evaluation of medical services for pre-trial or incarcerated populations.

Clinical supervision for medical staff.

Chair or participation in various committees to include Continuous Quality Improvement, Infection Control and Pharmacy and Therapeutics.

Interfacing with agency clinical and administrative leadership on issues related to medical services.

Close collaboration with onsite providers and nursing staff in the provision of healthcare services to pre-trial and incarcerated populations

Qualifications
-
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
-
Active and unrestricted MD/DO license or the ability to obtain one required

Board certification/eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine required

Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration

Leadership experience preferred

Ability to pass credentialing and background check
