Student Activities Clerk - Attleboro High School

7:30 am- 3:00 pm
Start Date: August 10, 2026
Position Purpose: Under the direct supervision of the Director of Finance, and in coordination with the Attleboro High School Principal, to provide clerical and administrative support for student activities, and extracurricular programs, communicating information to school district employees, students, parents, coaches, and advisors as required, and to assist in ensuring compliance of activity program operations with legal, administrative, and District policy requirements.
Essential Functions:

Processes fundraising requests for student activities.

Monitors and keeps track of new fundraiser activity.

Ensures invoices related to student activities are processed in a timely manner.

Maintains student activity accounts and rosters.

Collects student obligations for Attleboro High School.

Sends weekly reminders to staff regarding student obligations/fundraising status.

Composes correspondence and notices (e.g., event confirmations, permission forms) for advisors, students, and families.

Assists in coordinating scheduling of student activities and facility use.

Prepares, copies, and distributes notices, memoranda, and other correspondence regarding activities, events, or related matters.

Attends meetings as assigned for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform functions.

Assists in maintaining documents, files, and records for the purpose of providing an up-to-date reference and audit trail for compliance.
Additional Duties: Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the department. Travel Requirements Limited travel to and from meetings may be required.

Knowledge of laws and regulations, District policies and procedures, principles, guidelines, and best practices related to department (e.g., Pupil Services, Human Resources, Facilities and Business).

Works in standard office and school building environments.
Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:

Graduation from high school.
-
College level course work in business, word processing, and office procedures preferred.

Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
-
Successful experience with office management in related area preferred.
Salary per Attleboro Clerical Association Collective Bargaining Agreement - Salary Range: $224.18 - $267.75 per day
