Modern Obgyn is seeking an experienced part-time or full-time (3 -5 days), Ultrasound Technician. The practice seeks someone available for a three day a week position, as well as PRN the other day(s) of the week. The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for the daily performance of diagnostic ultrasounds and must perform high-quality scans and be able to adequately meet the needs of the practice providers. Job duties will include:
- Prepare, set up, and operate ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams;
- Provide patient services using imaging modalities
- Complete all aspects of patient care documentation in the electronic medical record
- Inform providers of completion of exams and pertinent information
- Ensure protocols and standards are up to date
- Ensure exams are being provided in a consistent and timely manner.
- As part of a patient focused practice, promote a supportive and healing environment to enhance customer and staff satisfaction

Education Requirements:
- Graduate of AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound or Sonography program
- Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with abdominal or OB/GYN certification
- ARDMS registered
Previous experience with eClinicalWorks (ECW) is desirable.
The compensation package includes a competitive salary and paid vacation.
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
