Are you an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager with strong Operating Room leadership experience? We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Manager – Perioperative Services/OR for an exciting 13-week contract opportunity in Sylmar, CA.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced perioperative leader to oversee surgical operations, support multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to exceptional patient care.

Compensation
Traveler Weekly Gross Package: $3,479/week
Permanent tax home must be more than 50 miles from the work location.
- Taxable Weekly Gross: $1,540
- Weekly Lodging & M&I Stipends: $1,939
Local Contractor Weekly Gross: $3,300/week
Permanent tax home must be less than 50 miles from the work location.
Key Responsibilities & Experience
The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of recent/current Operating Room management experience in a perioperative setting, including experience with:
- Operating Room
- Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Same Day Surgery
- Central Processing Services
- Surgery Scheduling
Experience across multiple surgical specialties is strongly required, including:
Orthopedics, Robotics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastic Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, Vascular, Podiatry, Thoracic, and General Surgery.
The Clinical Nurse Manager should demonstrate strong knowledge of:
- Circulating and assisting during surgical procedures
- Surgical instruments and equipment
- Sterile techniques
- Operating room protocols
- Patient safety and quality standards
- Surgical team coordination
- Complex and routine surgical procedures
- Perioperative workflow and operations
- Anticipating surgical team needs
Required Qualifications
- Active RN License
- BSN required; MSN preferred
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- AHA PALS
- MAB/CPI Certification
- Los Angeles Hospital Fire & Life Safety Card
- 5–7 years of recent/current OR management experience
