Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic and reliable Food Runner to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you'll be the vital link between the kitchen and our guests, ensuring that orders are delivered promptly and accurately to provide a seamless dining experience. Responsibilities
- Safely handle and transport food from the kitchen to guest tables, adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist with clearing tables, bussing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas.
- Support kitchen staff by performing basic food running duties, including delivering drinks and condiments as needed.
- Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders and ensure accurate delivery.
- Help with food preparation tasks when necessary, including plating or garnishing dishes under supervision.
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to coordinate timely service and guest needs.
- Practice safe lifting techniques during heavy lifting tasks like moving trays or large food containers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude to engage with guests confidently.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and proper cleaning procedures.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Experience with food running, serving, or guest services enhances your suitability for the role.
- A team-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service in person.
