Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh sandwiches and food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and presentation.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, food prep areas, dining spaces, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities including cash register operations, balancing tills, and processing payments securely.
- Assist with food handling tasks such as bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring proper food safety management practices are followed.
- Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks efficiently with excellent time management skills.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards is essential.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently.
- Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and transaction processing are required.
- Experience in food industry roles like cashiering, serving, or kitchen work will be advantageous.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work efficiently under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude throughout shifts.
