· Manage all aspects of the housekeeping department two days a week minimum.
· Manage all housekeeping room attendants, houseman and laundry. Ensuring completion of all tasks.
· Inspect all rooms cleaned for departure and stay-over and report status to PMS daily.
· Manage storage rooms. Ensure all storages are stocked with appropriate supplies to keep housekeepers conductive.
Additional Responsibilities:
Duties to be performed while working with the Executive housekeeper
· Assist in daily stand-up meetings, ensuring participation.
· Weekly linen inventories.
· Provide regular assistance to other housekeepers after completion of personal cleaning board. Including assistance in laundry and houseman, daily if needed.
· Assist in management of daily project for housekeepers and ensure its completion beyond personal cleaning board.
· Assist Executive housekeeper with cleaning quality and associate attitude daily.
· Dedicated training of new associates to the department. Be ready to work with all new hires and ensure they are trained well with a focus on retention.
· Weekly inspection of housekeeping carts.
· Weekly storage updates of supply closets and reorganization.
· Work with maintenance on shared PM/Deep Clean duties such as carpet shampoo cleaning, public space deep cleaning, etc.
· Manage other housekeepers daily on standards compliance, such as uniform standards.
· Assist in Front Desk communication with VIP room assignments, ADA assignments, etc.
