American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a MD or compact RN license, at least 2 years of MS/Tele experience, and prior travel or per diem nursing experience.

Hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry unit

Adult MS/Tele patient population only — no pediatric care required

Patient ratio of 1:5

Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30)

Every other weekend required, totaling 6 weekend shifts over 6 weeks

Weekly orientation provided

Active MD or compact RN license required
-
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) experience required

Adult MS/Tele experience only; pediatric experience not required

Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment or 1 month of per diem nursing

Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms

2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

PALS certification is not required for this role
