Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable, observant, and proactive Security Officer to help protect our clints, employees, visitors, and assets. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a safe and secure environment by conducting routine patrols, monitoring surveillance systems, responding to incidents, and enforcing security procedures. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities
- Manage access control by verifying identification, screening employees, visitors, and contractors, and authorizing entry as appropriate.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents while coordinating with law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary.
- Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other security documentation.
- Conduct background screenings for prospective employees, contractors, or vendors in accordance with company policies.
- Enforce security procedures and safety regulations to prevent theft, vandalism, trespassing, and unauthorized access.
- Provide leadership and support to fellow security personnel by offering guidance, assisting with training, and coordinating response efforts during emergencies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear, detailed, and accurate reports.
- Working knowledge of security operations, criminal law, and applicable law enforcement procedures.
- Experience conducting background checks and security screening processes.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification, or the ability to obtain certification.
- Proven leadership and decision-making skills in fast-paced or high-pressure situations.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems, access control systems, and other security technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills for interacting professionally with employees, visitors, emergency responders, and law enforcement.
