Heimark Distributing LLC is seeking a self-motivated and hard-working individual to work with our Marketing & Special Events Manager, sales department, and Draught Technicians. This position will be assisting with special events, on premise merchandising, and a backup to our draft department.
This is a full-time position 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday with some weekend and holiday event support.
Area: Coachella Valley and surrounding areas
Responsibilities
· Troubleshoot basic draught system problems, and respond to trouble calls in a timely manner
· Present, promote and sell products/services
· Merchandise and install paper and permanent point of sale materials
· Comfortable with using power tools for permanent point of sale installation
· Maintain product freshness and presentation through product rotation and equipment cleanliness and appearance
· Able to assist with set up and break down of special events
· Work closely with our marketing and special events manger to activate venues and events
· Able to tow and deliver draft trailers and equipment
· Be an assistant with our retail bars and restaurants regarding their draught service needs.
· Maintain tap cleaning logs on a daily basis, check and date QC stickers with adherence to supplier guidelines
· Maintain a cleaning schedule wherein every draught beer line in the territory is cleaned on a schedule consistent with supplier standards and/or Heimark standards
· Assist with draught system installation with lead draught technician
· Complete other assigned duties within other departments.
Requirements
· High school diploma or GED certificate required
· Must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
· Knowledge of local, state, and federal liquor laws
· Basic knowledge of MS Office
· Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
· Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
· Relationship management skills and openness to feedback

- Can demonstrate the ability to take the initiative to gather and use customer feedback to identify needs and opportunities
· Ability to work independently without direct supervision
· Experience working in special event set up and break down
· Experience with towing and setting up draft trailers
· Knowledgeable with setting up all forms of draft equipment
· Knowledgeable on working with CO2 and follow all safety guidelines
· This position requires lifting, loading, pushing and pulling product and/or kegs weighing at least 20 lbs., up to 165 lbs.
