Description: Northwest Royal Home Care, a long-term acute care AFH in Vancouver is seeking full-time/part-time Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team in providing care for our residents. Essential Functions:
· Assumes self-responsibility for all direct patient care activities as indicated by the Registered Nurse.
· Gives direct patient care according to the individual patient needs as directed by the patient care plan.
· Provides appropriate information to assist the Registered Nurse in the preparation and maintenance of an effective patient care plan.
· Performs prescribed treatment and nursing measures for the patient under specific facility guidelines.
· Notifies the Registered Nurse of significant findings or changes in the patient’s physical or mental conditions.
· Charts nurses notes in an informative and descriptive manner reflecting the care provided and the resident’s/patient’s response to that care.
· Administers prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies; provides basic wound care including cleaning and bandaging injured areas and manages IV’s.
· Provides respiratory care to include oxygen and medication delivery.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
· Current and active license to practice as an LPN in Washington
- Pay: $37.00 - $42.00 per hour
