Overview
We're a small cafe in Westport, MA looking for candidates to join our kitchen crew. Pay (including tips) ranges from $21-24 per hour with the potential for bonuses. Breaks and free shift meals and drinks are provided. Year Round Availability and at least one weekend shift is required. The hours are 7-3:30 Tuesday-Sunday.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen
- Inventory rotation
- Assist guests with questions on the menu
- Deliver orders from the kitchen to guests
Requirements
- Year round availability and at least one weekend day
- Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
- Experience with kitchen tasks such as cleaning, bussing, food preparation, and basic sanitation practices
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safe lifting practices
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
